The Cigarette lighter fuse is at number 17 with an amperage of 15 Amps. The Fuel Pump has 2 fuses:1st – at number 10 with an amperage of 10 Amps and the 2nd fuse – under the hood at number 2 with an amperage of 20 Amps, also you can check Fuel Pump relay – № R7 (see below).
Combination flasher
If you have problems with Turn signal indicators, Hazard warning lights, Stop signal – you have to check Combination flasher – unit located under the instrument panel outboard of the steering column opening (over the DLC connector).
Combination Flasher resembles two relays soldered together.
Relays in Central timer module (CTM)
If you have a problem with the door locks, you can also check the CTM (BCM) and the relays built into it.
- R1 and R2 – Door Lock and Unlock relays (built into Central timer module, non serviceable relays)
Fuse box and relays under the hood
In the engine compartment mounting block located on the left side (in the direction of car movement) next to the Battery.
Engine compartment fuse box is also called the Power Distribution center (PDC).
To access to the fuses and relays:
- You have to squeeze the 2 plastic latches on the sides of the cover.
