  1. the most comprehensive fuse box diagram with locations and pictures I have ever seen. I really wish you could diagram all makes and models, I would be willing to buy the diagrams for a small fee.

  2. Gracias por mostrar el diagrama pues me sirvió de mucha ayuda gracias amigos y amigas me asen más fácil mi trabajo

  3. my ecu compartment does not have any relay or fuse . is this possible its a passat b5 2000 automatic petrol 1.6L. normally 3b2 if im not wrong

    • If everything is working fine, it’s fine! But, as we know, there should be fusible links there. Check additionally if the wires are not connected to the pads where the fuses and relays should be located.

  4. Hi
Which is the exact flasher relay for the B5 passat, please.
My both (left and right) flash inticators, and the emergency hazard warning lamps, are not working at all, so i believe that the flasher relay might be the actual problem

    • The flasher and emergency light relay is built into the emergency button. You need to pry up the button and pull it out of the dashboard. You can remove the protective plastic cover and try to clean the relay contacts Flasher / Hazard relay Passat B5

  5. Hello from Latvia.
    Thank you very much!!!
I had the fuse card of my Passat B5.5 2003, but have not info about right fuse nominals.
Your info is very and very clear from any side we can look.
Thank you and good luck in Your everyday works and deals!

  6. I would like to know if there is a uk version of this as fuse box is on other side. I have two problems I am trying to solve power windows don’t work and diesel left in tank and distance left info is gone as well. My car is 2004 1.9 passat estate B5 diesel manual but I cannot find fuse or relay info to help. I am a car worshiper and at my age 70 I like things simple, so take pity on an old soul and try and help please.

    • The UK version will mirror what we have here. To solve the problem with the Power Windows we recommend also to check the fuses №38, №14, №6 (interior fuse box), the A fuse for 30 amps on the sixfold relay panel (some models) and the 30 Amps fuse on the eightfold relay panel.
It is also quite common to have problems with the wires running under the trim to the comfort unit (block), under the mat. The wiring under the mat should be checked, it may be corroded/damaged or have a poor connection to the unit (need to be lubricated). VW passat b5 power windows wiring As for the problem with the fuel level, there are several options: fuel level sensor, fuel gauge, wiring, dashboard (instrument panel). Everything needs to be checked. Start with the fuel level sensor.
